Deanna & John Sheedy

This past weekend my cousin Deanna married the man of her dreams, John Sheedy. We thought this day would never come! The two have been dating since teenagers and now in their late twenties have finally gotten married. The wedding took place at the Hotel Del Coronado in California on a grassy area overlooking the beach. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and Deanna looked gorgeous. I couldn't help but shed a tear of happiness for the two. The reception itself was another beautiful thing. The dinner was very fancy so my family didn't eat much since it's not what we're used to but sitting at a table with my cousins and friends was very enjoyable. The entertainment and dancing was a blast! During the night they threw out all sorts of fun light up things and crazy hats. It was so funny to watch my family and extended family get their groove on as they all said. All in all it was an amazing night full of lots of fun, laughter, and happiness! Congratulations Deanna and John, I love you both! Oh and welcome to the family John! :)

First Week of School

The first day of school actually wasn't half that bad. I think Choir will be my favorite class! All my teachers seem really nice and it looks like it's not going to be such a hard year. Hehe! Thats what happens when you take regular classes. I haven't really met anyone but I'm sure thats going to take sometime. But I look at this year as a fresh new start. I can be who I want to be and do what I want to do because no one knows me. So as the people around me are new to me I can be a new person to myself as well. Junior year is going to be great! :)

California Tomorrow!

Yes thats right we're going to Cali tomorrow for a mini vacation! (Just for the weekend) My cousin Deanna is getting married this weekend and I'm so excited for her! I think we've all been waiting for this day for a long time. Besides the wedding, I'm so excited to see all my family and to see everyone together, it's been awhile. Oh and can you say BEACH!! I'm so glad we get a chance to go to the beach while we're there. I'm in need of a major tan! hehe Well... it looks like it's time to go pack!

Ready or Not!

Alright well school starts tomorrow and I think I might just cry. I'm not ready for this at all. Open house went fine.... I guess. It's a pretty small school so I think I have my classes mapped out. But still... AHHHHHH! I know not a single soul that has a class with me heck I don't even know a single soul! I just want this to be the best year yet. Making new friends can't be all that hard, can it? At least I have my StuCo family to hold on to and I'm really looking forward to seminary this year. I'm hoping it will help with all my struggles. So here I go.... off to start my junior year! :)

School

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! School starts Wednesday and I'm terrified! I almost wish I was done with school forever! I didn't like Highland last year and now I'm not sure what I'm going to think of Campo Verde. Sure everyone says I'll be fine but they're not me. I handle things way different than others, in fact we all handle things different. I just get really stressed out and anxious over the littlest things. I know not a single soul at Campo except for my StuCo kids and that freaks me out. So as for this week I think it's time to stay calm, relax, and breathe.

Be Strong and Hang On

This is my new motto for the year/ school year. With everything happening in my life the only thing I can do is to "be strong and hang on". Last year was a very rough year for me with having reconstructive knee surgery and missing over 40 days of school. This year I wont let that happen!! I'm holding strong and hanging on with all that I have even if it means slowing down and not going over my limit and asking for help. I tend to try and take on the world on my own but it never works and my world just crumbles. But this year I'm turing to the Lord as my main support and clinging to my family and friends. I need all the support I can get, and I'm thankful for those who have been there for me through it all. For anyone else out there that is struggling just "be strong and hang on"

This has been quite the summer as my life has headed down a new path since moving, and moving means a new house, a new ward, a new school, and new people. Just thinking about this make me freak out. I thought moving was what I wanted but I don't think I was ready for all the new stuff. Don't get me wrong I love my house and I love my ward but going to a new school where I know no one kinda freaks me out.

Lately I've been struggling with all this and it's left me feeling very alone in many aspects of my life.
